SAUCES<\/h4>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1591940646791{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]Westlandpeppers has its own range of handmade sauces. The sauces are produced at a local company in small batches to ensure an exclusive product.<\/p>\n

In addition to vinegar, the sauces contain no preservatives or colouring agents. For the sauces, we use as many peppers as possible that we just can’t use for the supermarkets, restaurants or consumers. By using this class 2 chillies we try to throw away as few chillies as possible. With this, we want to prevent food waste in a sustainable way.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1769160791495{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]\n

Sauces<\/h4>\n

– Smoked Habanero Sauce<\/span><\/a> is made from red habanero and dried and smoked chipotle peppers. The tropical fruity and very spicy habanero in combination with the dried and smoked chipotle makes that the sauce has a sweet, smoky and very spicy taste.
\n– Naga Jolokia Sauce<\/span><\/a> is an extremely hot sauce made from fresh Naga Jolokia peppers of Westlandpeppers.
\n– Aji Amarillo Paste<\/span><\/a> is an important ingredient in Peruvian cuisine. The Aji Amarillo chillies are the edible gold of Peru and have a spicy, fruity, colourful and creamy taste. It is the most widely used chilli pepper in Peru and by adding the Aji Amarillo Paste to a dish you create the taste of Peru in your own kitchen!
\n– HabaQuince sauce<\/a><\/span> is made from red Habaneros and quinces! The peppers come from Westlandpeppers the fruit from Hoeve Avondrust (a local farm), a wonderful combination of the collaboration we have enjoyed for at least 12.5 years. Quince trees are traditionally found on farmyards. In the Netherlands, they are considered a ‘forgotten fruit’ because they are quite labor-intensive to prepare. This is actually just laziness, because in neighboring countries, as well as in South America, this fruit is used in numerous dishes, pies, and other delicacies. It is the perfect ingredient for a surprising hot sauce that is sweet and spicy and can be eaten with many different dishes, such as a cheese platter, pizza, or a piece of meat.<\/p>\n
